Liquor cabinet - Napoleon III - Brass, Ebony, Glass, Mahogany - Mid 19th century
Large liquors cabinet, of the ''arbalète'' or crossbow type, made in the middle of the 19th century, of the Napoleon III period and style. Made of plated ebony, as well as brass ''filets'' all around the piece. Making spikes at its top and a ''cartouche'' L M with ornaments. You can see different repairs, made previously (images) and elements of the glassware with a small blow, which do not detract from the beauty of the piece as a whole. The piece is framed with exterior mouldings. The interior is made of mahogany and it has two side latches in brass that allow you to open and close the cabinet. One of the glasses seems to have been repaired. It has been applied a layer of classic "au tampon" varnish and a layer of antique wax to give it back that patina of yesteryear. The photos are part of the description. Insured shipping and at a pick up point available.
