Liza Plaksa (1993) was born in Kazan. Lives and works in Moscow.
In 2016, he meets a group of artists "Our Utopia" during a group exhibition in Kazan.
In 2018 he moves to Moscow and joins the "Our Utopia" collective, he also takes the pseudonym Liza Plaksa, expressing his opinion to the world that crying or asking for support is not a shame. Participant of the First All-Russian Perkinnale of Contemporary Art at the Art4 Museum.
Since childhood, Lisa spent a lot of time in the village, where she was in close contact with goats, she especially remembered how their fur shimmers in the light of a lone ray, this memory is still the artist's source of inspiration and the key one in the color schemes of her works. The place where her goats live is marked on the world map "Our Utopia" as "Goat's Well", not surprising, because her thread with a needle piercing the fabric into the hoop, like a rope with a bucket, goes down into the well for water, and then rises back to the surface with new emotions, until the image of the goat with which she had this invisible connection appears.
Works in different techniques: embroidery, painting, printed graphics.
