(8) (ads), (viii), (5)-208, (16) (ad) pp. Original limp illustrated wrappers, light edge wear, spine ends very lightly chipped; all edges trimmed; in red quarter niger solander box. The Wizard was first published serially in The African Review before Arrowsmith first published it in book form in their 1896 Christmas Annual on 29 October and slightly later in their Bristol Library series. There is some debate as to whether this issue preceded, or was published simultaneously, with the Bristol Library issue, but this is certainly the rarer of the two.
