Lithuania, a stunning pair of original and important hand drawn design essays for the face and reverse of the 5 Mustiniai circulation note issued in 1920, produced by Bradbury Wilkinson, the two designs on paper in pencil, ink, and watercolour, measure 8.6cms x 13.8cms, accompanying the essays is a design study of the vignette depicting a woman at a spinning wheel, the circular design, also on paper measures approx. 9.0cms in diameter, the designs are in good condition, the paper is crisp and flat, although there are considerable grubby marks and smudges along with some perforations and one or two pencil words and digits here and there around the designs
