Liza Tokareva; Composition 2, 2017; 100x100 cm; oil on canvas;
A landscape painted under the impression of the sea in the off-season when the umbrellas are closed and no one is on the pier. This is a sunset state, creating the feeling of a warm evening and a light wind that creates ripples on the water.
Liza Tokareva graduated from the Moscow State Academic Institute named after V.I.Surikov, "Free Workshops" at MMOMA, trained at the Russian Academy of Arts (in the class of monumental painting). He is an active member of the FYFM art group. ⠀ Lisa works in different media (painting, installation, collage, performance, and video), combining these techniques, experimenting with materials and materialities. ⠀ The artist studies and is inspired by what surrounds her - events, time, everyday life. Through art, she forms her definition of the role of man in the modern world. Lisa's works are based on a synthesis of expression, abstractness of space, and sensuality. Lisa touches upon the topics of representation, the objectlessness of space, the logic of sensory cognition of the world, new reality, and the topic of anachronisms
