London.- Ackermann (Rudolph) Eight views from the series 'Views of London, from a series that included 18 views in total produced over a decade, including 'Westminster Hall & Abbey', 'View of the Tower of London', 'View of Somerset House', 'A View of the Bank of England', 'The Quadrant, Regent Street', 'Entrance of Tottenham Court Road Turnpike, with a View of James's Chapel', 'Entrance of Piccadilly or Hyde Park Corner Turnpike', and 'Entrance of Oxford Street or Tyburn Turnpike with a View of Park Lane', aquatints and etchings, with hand-colouring, by Havell, Bluck, Schutz, after Rowlandson, Gendall, and Shepherd, platemarks various sizes, between 370 x 455 mm (14 1/2 x 17 7/8 in) and 410 x 510 mm (16 1/8 x 20 in), most with good margins, minor spotting and surface dirt, a few repaired tears to edges, all under glass, uniformly framed, circa 1811-1822 (8)
