Longines - Pocket Chronograph 14 kt gold - Men - 1901-1949

Longines early pocket chronograph with beautiful tri-colour enamel dial in the colours of the French tricolour with tachymeter / telemeter scale, perfectly preserved without even a hairline crack. Casing: made of 14 kt gold, both lids 14 kt. It is a slightly worn model, and has few signs of wear as it is over 100 years old. The watch has undergone regular watchmaker maintenance during this period. Casing diameter without crown 52 mm, with crown and pendant 72 cm. Total weight: 94. 5 grams. Perfectly maintained white enamel dial, with beautiful telemeter kilometre scale in the colours of the "French tricolour". The tachymeter scale is a powerful blue, the telemeter scale is in red on ivory white enamel. Arabic hours indices, permanent 30 minute and 60 second display, stop second hand, functions cleanly, start, stop, reset, stop second, Manual wind movement, 19. 73N calibre, signed Longines. A jewel of the early watch-making art. Longines gold chronograph Longines, chronograph, no. 3963721. The movement carries the same number, so everything originally came together. Made circa 1917. Very beautiful, 14 kt gold, key-less pocket watch with chronograph and lightning-quick 30-minute register. Four-body, "demi bassine", coaxial button in the crown for start / stop and return-to-zero chronograph functions. Hinged gold cuvette. Gold spade hands. Cal. 19. 73N, frosted gold-plated, 21 jewels, straight lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet overcoil spring, cam micrometre regulator. Dial, casing and movement signed.
