Longines - Record Automatic - "NO RESERVE PRICE" - ref:50404 - Men - 1960-1969

[ translate ]

Fine and rugged dress watch from the 1960s. The result from the collaboration between/acquisition of the Record watch firm and the much better known Longines from the 1960s. Eventually, Record succumbed to the quartz crisis. The steel case measures about 35 mm by 40 mm from lug to lug. (Measured without crown.) The dial is of a beautiful dark grey colour with overlaid silver markers and a date display at the 3 o'clock position. The movement is a truly wonderful automatic calibre FB ETA 2622(?) – see photo – and entirely rose gold in colour. The watch runs well and the date also adjusts correctly – also when using the 9-12-9 method. The vintage leather rally strap is beautiful as well. It is 19 mm wide and marked 'H' (Hirsch?) . It is equipped with a buckle and is suited for wrists of up to at least 21 cm. Please have a good look at the many photos. These provide a good impression of this fine watch. It is in neat, vintage condition – optically 8/10. Only the watch is included. No extras. NO RESERVE! In short. . . a stylish and tough-looking Longines - Record automatic. A fine dress watch from the 60s. Needless to say, this item will be shipped well-packaged and by registered and insured post.
