The present reference 5681 is a special single button chronograph featuring one big red hand for the continuous seconds, powered by caliber 12.68Z. The case has two bodies with snap on back, stepped bezel and concave lugs all in stainless steel very nicely preserved. The dial has a classical military style with black background, luminous Arabic numerals, outer minute track, outermost fifths of a second scale and subsidiary seconds dial for constant seconds. Accompanied by the Longines Extract from the Archives confirming case, movement, production and subsequent sale on 12 May 1951 to the company Wehry, which was at that time the Longines agent for the Dutch East Indies.
