Dimensions: 12,5 cm x 13,5 cm (Hx. W) Material: Sancai Glazed Earthenware Origin: China Age: 7th - 8th Century, Tang Dynasty (618 A. D. - 907 A. D.) An intriguing Sancai Loop Handle Vase. This Vase is decorated with four handles of which one has been restored. Between the handles, small blossoms are placed as decoration. These flower blossoms can be found in various shapes on earthenware of the time. The Sancai glaze is nicely executed though age and use created some small chips to the surface. Overall an outstanding presentation piece to the observers eyes. In fair condition, restored; signs of use and wear. Several small chips, one loop handle restored. No cracks. Provenance: This Object was purchased by me in August 2019. and was part of a Porcelain Collection of various Objects from a french Collector.
