Die Aufnahmen gehen auf seine Zeit im New Yorker East Village im Jahre 1968 zurück, die er 1972 bei Magyar Helikon unter schwierigen Umständen publizierte. Der Band gilt als das wichtigste ungarische Fotobuch seiner Zeit, nimmt Einflüsse der Pop Art auf und reflektiert eindrucksvoll mit experimentellen Photomontagen das Leben in New York.
