A PAIR OF MOTTLED PINK MARBLE PEDESTALS, PROBABLY ITALIAN, 19TH CENTURY

of columnar form, on turned and square bases
105cm. high; 3ft. 5¼in.

Condition Report:
Overall the condtion of the marble is very good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are some patches of fill to both columns in areas, where open veins appear to have been filled. There are some chips and minor losses to the bottom edges of both column and to the edges of the turned bases. There are further small chips to the edges and corners of the square bases. There is a larger loss to the corner of one of the bases.
