Lot details A large Japanese carved cinnabar lacquer 'Dragon and Lotus' dish, early 20th century Of circular form with a foliate rim, the interior carved in relief with a sinuous dragon amidst lotus leaves and flowers against a diaper ground, centred by a circular medallion enclosing the Tokugawa family crest (mitsuba aoi). Diameter: 61 cm.Condition Report A couple of small chips to the rim. The dish slightly wobbles. Condition reports must be considered as a matter of opinion and not fact.
