Lot of 2: Open Mouth French Dolls.

Lot consists of: Two dolls, each approximately 20" (51cm) tall. Neither has any incised markings other than an "8" on the back of the heads. Neither has any marks on the body. Both appear to be later Jumeau type dolls, most likely from the beginning of the "SFBJ" period. Although almost the exact same height, the overall proportions of the dolls are slightly different, with the blond haired girl having a slightly bigger head circumference and a chunkier body than the auburn haired girl in the cotton print dress. Both dolls have very nice blue paperweight eyes, with the auburn haired girl's eyes being slightly paler. The bodies on both appear to have original patina with only slight typical wear and fading.
