Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 2nd to 3rd century CE. A delightful matching pair of fibulae (brooches), each cast from bronze and depicting a dog who has successfully caught a rabbit. Size of one (they are nearly identical) 1.45" W x 0.75" H (3.7 cm x 1.9 cm)
