Lot of 3 Costa Rican Terracotta Stamp Seals

**First Time At Auction**

Pre-Columbian, Costa Rica, ca. 800 to 1500 CE. A set of three hand-built terracotta stamp seals of varying sizes and shapes. The smallest stamp has a petite conical handle and a circular face bearing a five-pointed star in low relief. The second seal is a cylindrical roller seal with pierced openings and incised linear and geometric motifs on the exterior surface. The largest seal has a thick handle, a gradually-expanding shoulder, and an oblong stamp face bearing an abstract series of incised curvilinear forms. Size of largest (oblong face): 2.25" W x 1.875" H (5.7 cm x 4.8 cm).
