Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Jalisco, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A trio of fascinating anthropomorphic figures, each posed as if kneeling, with a long, avian face, coffee bean shaped eyes, and tall headdress; each figure has both breasts and a phallus. These figures probably represent shamans with their fantastical bodies and human/zoomorphic features. Size of largest: 3.4" W x 4.6" H (8.6 cm x 11.7 cm)

Provenance: private Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA collection; ex-Minerva Gallery; ex-Benjamin Vega, California, USA, acquired in 2006 to 2007; ex-Gene and Virginia George, brought to the USA from 1961 to 1966
