Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A quartet of charming blown glass vessels, each made to hold perfumes, unguents, or other personal items for ancient Romans. Each features a bulbous lower body, a thin neck, and a flaring mouth with rolled rim. Three have ribbed decoration, while the last has a smooth body that has attained beautiful opaque deposits. Size of tallest: 1.65" W x 3" H (4.2 cm x 7.6 cm)
Provenance: private Dunn collection, Coral Springs, Florida, USA, acquired in the 1990s
