Lot of 7 Roman Bronze and Bone Implements
**First Time At Auction**
Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 4th century CE. A lovely assortment of seven ancient Roman items. First is a slender pin, carved from ungulate bone, perhaps for applying perfumes. Next is a pair of curved fibulas, one with an ovoid body and the other with a lobed body, and both with their original pins. A small fishing hook presents with a curved body and a sharp hook tip. Next is an omega-form jar handle with a pair of curved chain hooks. Last are a pair of thin nails, one with a discoid head and the other with a rectangular head and two small pierced holes. Size of largest (pierced nail): 7.2" L (18.3 cm).
