Lot consists of two Republic of Texas court documents, including: an order for a court summons in San Augustine County, dated 1845, ordering William W. Holman to appear for a case regarding plaintiff W.D. Smith, deceased, Samuel C. Davis administrator, F.V. Mckee, sheriff; and a deed transfer in DeWitt County dated Aug. 10, 1838, between R.H. Dickson & wife and Otto Ruff, for land in the tow of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas.
