"The Biography of Wang Xizhi in the Book of Jin" records: "(Xizhi) loved geese. There was a solitary grandmother in Kuaiji who raised a goose. It was good at singing. However, he asked for the market and failed to find one, so he brought his relatives and friends to visit him. When my grandmother heard that Xi was coming, she cooked it for him.
