Lourioux was known for limited, progressive designs in stoneware
This soliflore vase is a beautiful example of Lourioux's early work around 1900
Lourioux died prematurely in a car accident in 1930.

Sublime decoration of floral elements with hanging flowers and vertical lines
Decorated at the top with curled volutes
Marked at the bottom with the stamp of Louis Lourioux
Made of stoneware (grès)
