This work is recorded in the archives of Solange Milet and is accompanied by a copy of a certificate from her.

Condition Report:
Executed on card laid down on canvas. Examination under UV light reveals a thick layer of varnish but no apparent traces of retouching. There is a small horizontal line of paint loss towards the upper left corner, likely corresponding to a scratch. There are two small dents with associated paint loss on the lower left corner of the red playing card and towards the centre of the right edge. There is a further tiny dent to the card below the H in RHUM with a minor associated pigment loss. This work is in overall good condition.
