Originally designed for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen in 1957, the AJ lamp is one of Arne Jacobsen's most significant design icons. The floor lamp emits light directed downwards. The screen angle can be adjusted approximately 90 degrees up and down to optimize light distribution. The screen is painted white on the inside to ensure a soft and comfortable light.
