The classic Monogram Canvas has been Louis Vuittons trademark design since it was first introduced in 1896. The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented. Made of coated canvas, the Monograms traditional look is also endured by its durability.

The exterior coated canvas is clean and beautiful with faint rubbing on the corners and scuffing. The leather trim shows wear on the edges and the shoulder pads are creased and have wear. The hardware has scratches and the metal feet shows fading. The interior lining is clean throughout but does have a cigarette odor.
