The classic Monogram Canvas has been Louis Vuittons trademark design since it was first introduced in 1896. The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented. Made of coated canvas, the Monograms traditional look is also endured by its durability.
The exterior coated canvas is clean with no obvious signs of use. The black leather has heavy creasing and scuffing along the top, to the base of the handles and along the zipper opening. The leather at the bottom corners shows rubbing and wear. The leather handles have scuffing and light wear. The hardware is bright but there are scratches throughout. The interior lining has some rubbing and light signs of use.
