The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis has some smudging and scuffing throughout. There are black transfer marks along the back of the bag. The bottom smooth trim has rubbing to the corners and spots. The handles remain clean with some rubbing. The hardware has surface scratches and some fading to the bottom metal feet, but overall remains bright. The interior lining has some rubbing and light spots throughout.
