Louis XIV style bookcase, model close to a piece of furniture in the great room of the Dijon Museum - Wood - 19th century

Louis XIV style bookcase, a model similar to a piece of furniture in the great hall of the Museum of Dijon (see picture N°2) . This piece of furniture inspired by the private Trimolet collection was built in 1880 in walnut from Grenoble. Stepped front opening with 8 leaves of which 4 glazed, 2 drawers, plus a writing pull tab. The sculptures are abundant and of high quality. The cornice is "in the shape of a ‘French constable hat’ topped by a large shell topping the piece of furniture at nearly 3 metres high. The lower part is very generous in shapes and sculptures and 4 arched rolled up feet are housed under an incredible serrated crosspiece Estimated completion of over 900 hours of work.
