A French Louis XV period semainier (7-drawer chest) signed on top front left under stone top by Jean-Baptiste Tuart (maitre 1 Feb. 1741) in hardwood marquetry veneer over oak and other secondary woods, retaining its original grey marble top and gilt bronze escutcheons and sabots.
