early 20th century, the shaped rectangular top with an inset leather surface and ormolu corner accents, above a conforming frieze fitted with three drawers, all with lattice-patterned parquetry inlay, verso and sides inlaid en suite, raised on cabriole legs headed by espagnolettes and ending in sabots.

Condition Report: Sturdy and stable with no movement exhibited at the juncture of the legs and top. Normal wear and indications of age and use. There are a few pieces of slightly lifted parquetry veneer, and a loss about 2 mm by 2 mm. The tooled leather top is in quite good condition but for a depression in it about 1" x 2" over what appears to be a dent or break in the underlying wood.
