Louis XVI Style Gilt and Gesso Overmantel Trumeau Mirror, early 20th c., the pierced bowknot crest above a central plaster relief of putti on a chariot with rose swags, with a gilt outer surround, around a beaded inner surround and a beveled mirror plate, H.- 67 in., W.- 34 in.
Condition Report: There are some small scattered losses to the gesso and gilding in the relief, mostly to the rose tips on the foliate swag. Silvering on mirror plate is intact. There are a few small losses to the beading on the inner trim. The outer trim has a few shrinkage/age cracks, but is intact. In overall good condition.
