AVRIL" (Etienne Avril, maitre en 1774) top back left, rosewood veneer with mixed wood inlays, gilt bronze mounts, the rectangular rouge breche marble top with canted corners, over conforming cabinet set with three stacked drawer fronts, each marquetry inlaid with musical instruments, flags and hunting regalia, flanked by flowering branches, the top drawer hinged at the bottom and opening to green leather lined pull-out writing surface and fitted storage, raised on cabriole legs mounted with ormolu, 37"h x 37.5"w x 19"d
Condition: Good/Fair, marble showing chips along back edge, veneer generally well preserved with strong even color, a few small losses along separators between drawers, secretary interior with cracks and small wood losses along top requiring some restoration, typical wear to leather **Note: Condition reports are based on visual inspection under typical office lighting.
