Louis XV/XVI Style Gilt Bronze Mounted Mahogany Gueridon. The oval inset white and black marble top above a frieze inset with gilt bronze relief panel, after Gouthiere, depicting child satyrs carrying the infant Bacchus among grape vines and suspending fruited and floral swags; raised on cabriole legs headed by floral and leaf chutes terminating in leaf cast scrolled sabots.
