Louis Xvi Sevres & Ormolu Mounted Secretaire

LOUIS XVI SEVRES & ORMOLU MOUNTED SECRETAIRE: A fine Louis XVI mixed wood veneer secretaire cabinet mounted with Sevres style porcelain plaques and ormolu decoration, brass trim. Arched crest over 2 beveled glass display cabinet over center open mirrored back with valanced front, surmounted with single door with interior shelf either side, fluted full column accents. Base with 5 drawers over 2 shaped shelves, turned and fluted supports, all on feet. Sevres plaque motifs to include portraits, cherubs, and floral designs. Overall 80” h. x 57 ½” x 21 ¾”. Condition: Crack in one porcelain plaque, one door with split, restored in 1997.
