Love and Peace Festival 1970 Poster

Sought-after original color 11.5 x 32.25 poster for the Love and Peace Festival (also known as the Festival of Love ), which was held on the Baltic island of Fehmarn, Germany, from September 4 to 6, 1970. The poster shows a pink sky, blue ocean, and then a field of green leaves listing the various performers, which includes: Jimi Hendrix, Canned Heat, Sly & the Family Stone, Ten Years After, Procol Harum, Ginger Bakerâ€â„¢s Air Force, Joan Baez, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, and more. Rolled and in fine condition, with a small tear to top edge. On September 6, 1970, Hendrix played his last show at Germany's Open Air Love and Peace Festival, amidst pouring rain after a day's delay. The legendary guitarist would pass away in London less than two weeks later.
