Lowenbrau Faux Wood Barrel Sign

18 inches. This wall sign for the Munich-based brewery Lowenbrau is constructed in a three-dimensional barrel-head style. The sign is made of molded plastic with a textured finish designed to mimic the appearance of weathered oak wood grain. The center features a high-relief molded graphic of the traditional Lowenbrau heraldic lion rampant, depicted with a protruding tongue and a dual-tipped tail. Below the lion, the name of the brewery is molded in raised capital letters reading LOWENBRAU. The perimeter of the sign is detailed with molded staves and two dark bands finished to resemble iron barrel hoops. The reverse side shows the hollow-backed, vacuum-formed construction of the plastic, which displays the mirror image of the front text and graphics. A brown plastic plate is attached to the top rear, featuring a metal hanging bracket with a serrated edge and two keyhole mounting points. A small, indistinct molded mark is present on the front face in the lower-right area below the lettering, though the specific characters are not legible.
