Lucebert (1924-1994) , poet and visual artist, played a key role in the development of the Cobra movement and was praised as the Emperor of the Fifties. Lucebert was one of the founders of the Cobra movement, together with Karel Appel, Corneille and Theo Wolvecamp.
This work comes from a private collection and is quite rare. The performance is typical of his style from the 1960s. Mythological figures are especially common.
