The painting is signed by hand to the lower right corner and dated “36”. The painting is presented unframed and feature a decal reading “From the Estate of Lucian Lupinski 1918-2002 Saturday Evening Post Artist” to the the verso.
Raised in Ohio, Lucian Lupinski studied at Ohio State University, the Grand Central School of Art, the Art Students League in New York, and the American Academy of Art in Chicago. He was an artist-in-residence for The Saturday Evening Post. His murals can be found in the Toledo Cathedral, the Museum of Art and Industry in Chicago, and religious buildings in eastern U.S. states.
