Lucie Rie (1902-1995). A large white glazed stoneware vase with flared trumpet neck, shouldered baluster body, covered in a thick slightly crazed white glaze, unglazed footrim, cream overpianted base with highlighted monogram, 30.5cms high, 16.5cms wide at the rim, 15.5cms wide at the shoulder. (This repair was apparently carried out by Lucie Rie herself before gifting it to the present owners parents)
