Signed cast bronze with patinated surface statue sculpture by Lucien Charles Edouard Alliot (1877-1967 France) "Phalene" depicts an Art Nouveau style maiden casually covering her nude body in a star embroidered cloth with a great red patinated finish. She wears a butterfly in her hair and stands on a small platform with Mucha style feet. Artist signature on verso with foundry marks. Measures 26 3/4" x 8 3/4" Good condition with mild surface wear.
