Lucien Alliot was born in Paris on November 16, 1877. He was a student of Barrias and Coutan, and the son of Napoléon Alliot, a sculptor like him. Lucien is known for having exhibited regularly at the Salon de la Société des Artistes Français between the years 1905 and 1939. In 1934, he became its president and he retained this position until 1939. His work is visible in numerous museum collections worldwide. Alliot died on March 9, 1967.
