Condition Report:
The canvas is wax lined. The paint surface is stable and in good condition but under a fairly soiled varnish. Very fine craquelure throughout, particularly in the background at right and in her proper right arm. Faint stretcher bar impressions at upper, left, and right edges. Under UV light, inpainting to address aforementioned craquelure in background at upper left and beneath her proper left elbow; small spots of retouching to the figure's neck, chest, and proper right forearm. Possible repair to tear in her dress below signature.
