The history of the Moser company:
In 1857, Ludwig Moser founded an engraving and retail business in Karlovy Vary. By 1873, there were branches in New York, London, Paris and Saint Petersburg. In 1893, he opened his own glass factory. His products were very successful.

In 1901 he was awarded the Order of the Sun and Lion, Third Class, and was appointed Purveyor to the Persian Court, in 1904 Purveyor to the Imperial and Royal Court, and in 1908 Purveyor to King Edward VII. In 1915, service 11660 was produced for King Alfonso XIII of Spain. In 1916, Leo Moser succeeded him as General Director and Artistic Director.

In 1922, Ludwig Moser merged with his nephew's glassworks in Adolfov. In 1923, Leo Moser presented a drinking service 11520 for Pope Pius XI in the Vatican. In 1925, Moser opened his first branch in Prague. In 1934, the glass factory was sold to Česká Unionbanka. After the Sudetenland was annexed to Germany in the autumn of 1938, the company was renamed Glasmanufaktur Karlsbad AG.

In 1945 the company was expropriated and nationalized.

In 1947, President Edvard Beneš gave the Splendid 10160 service as a wedding gift to Princess Elisabeth. In 1957, the Maria Theresia 801 glass bowl was produced for the 100th anniversary of the company's founding.

After the fall of the Berlin Wall, the company was converted back into a stock corporation in 1991. In 1996, the Unique Vase was produced for the Thai King Rama IX, and a year later a cross for Pope John Paul II.

In 2003, Moser took part in the “Maison & Objet” exhibition in Paris for the first time. In 2005, a branch was opened in Moscow. In 2007, Moser celebrated its 150th anniversary.

The glasses are carefully packaged and sent by registered mail.
