Condition Report: Place de la Concorde: On stable panel. Very minor surface dirt and dust. Under UV: scarcely applied varnish fluoresces green. Brushy retouched to edges, affecting the first L in the signature. Scattered finely applied dots and dashes of retouching, particularly to the sky. La sortie de Paris: On stable panel. Minor frame abrasion at edges with a very few small instances of associated gilding transfer. Very faint pigment separation, appearing to be stabilized below the varnish layer. Under UV: some brushy retouching to edges. A few small dots of retouching in the sky area. Apparent fine strengthening applied to darkest tones of the buildings at left. Both framed by Old Man Gallery, Bozeman, Montana (label verso).
