Large original table lamp from the 1960s. In good condition and working. Original wire and socket. Italian design work by Luigi Massoni, renowned designer, born in Milan in 1930. After graduating, he approached the world of design thanks to an internship experience at the Milan Architecture Collective. During the 1950s, he began to collaborate with the famous "Alessi" company and in 1959 he became a designer for Boffi. Furthermore, in the same year, he founded "Mobilia" together with some entrepreneurs in the sector, a center dedicated to the promotion of Italian design. Massoni also works with other important design brands, including Poltrona Frau and Guzzini, and creates some projects for the "Arcore Ceramiche" manufacturer starting from the end of the 1960s. Harvey Guzzini, Italian lamp factory founded by six Guzzini brothers - Raimondo, Giovanni, Virgilio, Giuseppe, Adolfo and Giannunzio. The factory is named after the 1950 film Harvey starring James Stewart. Over the course of the 20th century, the brothers changed the company name several times, including Harvey Creazioni, Harvey Guzzini, Guzzini, i. Guzzini and Illuminazione Guzzini. The company is still active today.
