Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Extremely close inspection reveals some light wear in isolated places to all four extreme edges. Further extremely close inspection under raking light reveals some splash accretions in isolated places. Close inspection reveals a few networks of craquelure to the two areas of thicker impasto, most notably a featherline crack towards the upper left corner (18 cm). Further close inspection reveals a small puncture with an associated loss, and a network of craquelure to the centre left of the composition. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
