A native of Madrid, Feito attended the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de San Fernando where he later taught. He was a founding member of the Spanish avante garde Grupo El Paso, which included such young artists as Rafael Canogar, Juana Frances and Antonio Saura.

Working in an abstract expressive style, Feito filled his canvases with bold swathes of thick layers of oil paint in a reduced palette of red, black, white, and ocher. His resulting series of silkscreens based on these geometric works proved extremely popular. He was named an Officier and later Commandeur of the prestigious French Ordre des Artes et des Lettres.
