Luisa & Ico Parisi - MIM (Mobili Italiani Moderni) - Desk

Desk designed by Luisa and Ico Parisi. Made in 1958 by MIM Mobili Italiani Moderni Roma. This desk combines excellent design with durable construction. A great example of Italian modernist design. The manufacturing hallmark was created in the 60s by the founder of MIM S. p. A. , Dr Ennio Fazioli, who has been a leader in furniture making for decades in Italy. The desk up for auction is made of high quality walnut veneer. The supporting structures are made of aluminium, polished and painted black. The desk can also be turned into a table by taking off the drawers and sides fixed with few screws. This desk was located in the office of a lawyer in Florence and is in good condition. A conservative restoration has been carried out, which has removed all the marks on the tabletop. There are some minor signs of age on the rest of the item of furniture. Desk size: Height: 73 cm.
