A lunar meteorite, Lahmada 20 was just discovered in 2018. This end cut is simply beautiful, displaying a smooth face, a shallow exterior and a surface evoking an exotic planet. The front portion offers a muted mix of light and dark greenish-gray. An interesting vein crosses the piece and several white inclusions are seen in the finely grained surface. The specimen, a feldspathic regolith melt breccia, represents the soil of the lunar surface. Lahmada 20 was discovered in the year of the 50th Anniversary of the First Man on the Moon. Weighing 88.72 grams; Measuring 3.20 x 2.64 x 0.55in (8.12 x 6.70 x 1.39 centimeters)
