VERY RARE LUNAR METEORITE.

Lunar achondrite meteorite NWA 13739.

History :
Discovered in 2020 in Algeria in the Tindouf region and officially approved on March 28, 2021.

The meteorite is irregular in shape without a fusion crust. It is covered by a caliche coating which also occurs inside the meteorite in fractures. The interior is a fine-grained, dark-colored breccia.

It is one of 584 meteorites approved and classified as lunar.

It weighs 1. 69 grams and measures approximately 13 x 10 x 9 mm.
